Alpha Triumphant at NNRC with double WIN!

Team Alpha take both A final wins at NNRC.
Sunday 6th of June 2010 saw two Alpha plus drivers take convincing wins in the truggy AND buggy A finals, at the fantastic NNRC track near Preston, UK.
In the buggies we saw Mark Redmond pilot his Losi 8ight 2.0 eu to a commanding TQ, winning all 4 heats very convincingly.
And In the final it was the Mark Redmond’s show as Mark lead the race from start to finish. The awesome pace of Marks car was too much for the chasing duo of Shaun Reeve (Hobao/Reedy) and Iain MacCallum (Associated/RB) to handle as he put
in an awesome performance.
The Truggies wasn’t so clear cut. Team Alpha driver Kevin Davies got off to a shaky start, suffering grip roll on the first corner due to the inconsistent grip caused by an earlier rain shower. He was soon back into contention having a long tussle with Stewart Quinn(Associated/OS) and Adam Brooks(Losi 8ight-T 2.0/RB) and with Karl Lucas(Mugen/RB) Way-out in front by almost half a lap it was going to be a tall order. But Kev managed to pilot his Alpha z852 powered Associated RC8t past the duo of Stewart and Adam and set off in chase of Karl out in the lead. Eventually Kev was to
pass Karl after a small mistake and then the pin was pulled, with Kev managing to put a lap on the field in the last 5 minutes.
A convincing display of the power, speed and reliability of the New Alpha Plus range of engine and a good performance from the team drivers
